May 2023 - Sustainable Energy Congress

Energy Now

Energy Now is a large congress on sustainable energy in the Brainport Region of Eindhoven. The first four editions were held between 2016 and 2019. The congress aims to be a platform for students, prospective workers in the energy sector to meet companies in an informal setting, to discuss together the perspectives of the energy transition.

Our vision consists of organising an event which fosters the development of technological and societal solutions for the problems within the energy transitions by providing platform for discussion, discourse, networking and education and increasing awareness about the energy transition.

The congress is held on a single day, with various speakers bringing light on subjects in relation to the theme, the possibility to engage in workshops with several companies active in the energy sector, each with their own specialization. Furthermore, there are many opportunities during the day to get in touch with other students, scientists, companies in an informal way. Follow us on our social media to stay tuned on the congress! And see you soon.

Who are we

The committee of Energy Now consists of seven students from the Eindhoven University of Technology. Along with other initiatives, Energy Now is part of the student-initiated platform Team Energy. Team Energy, which consists of students from a broad range of technical expertise areas, actively promotes and stimulates students to acquire knowledge and participate in the energy transition. These students are united by sharing the same vision: a world sustained by renewable energy.
