Alliander is an energy network company. They are responsible for the distribution of energy in both electrical and (bio)gas state. Topsector Energy builds upon the 2050 sustainability goals as stated in the Climate Agreement and Energy Agenda for European states. These goals aim to reach a completely sustainable energy supply and a 80 to 95 percent reduction in carbon emissions in contrast to those of 1990. These goals shape the direction of the necessary innovations Topsector Energy stimulates. The climate agenda presumes four energy-functions, in 2017, these were translated in five transition directions in which innovations are supported by TSE according to the following cohesion.

ANTECY

Capturing and concentrate (ambient) CO2 at low prices for direct use and production of fuels and chemicals, using solar or wind energy.

With the help of an inorganic, non-amine sorbent, Antecy turns the negative of CO2 (greenhouse effects, environmental costs) into a positive, whereby CO2 becomes the ideal renewable resource for our Carbon Economy (fuels, chemicals and other materials).

The current society is dealing with complex issues, like the climate crisis, mobility problems and the energy transition. People, groups and organisations often have different views on these challenges. The different stakeholders might have various interests and other priorities.

Overlegorgaan Fysieke Leefomgeving aims to bring stakeholders and the government together in constructive dialogue in order to solve complex issues regarding the physical environment.
